How can I ask this guy to sadies?

My school is having a Sadie Hawkins dance and I want to ask this guy...In a creative way. He skate boards a lot and I kinda wanted to do something different and super creative. when ever he sees me i am on a softball field, one of my friends suggested that i get a soft ball and write "Now that I've tested your reflexes, I'd like to test your dance moves. SADIES?" and then just throw it to him really quickly. what do you think? I'm open to anything! Thanks a bunch!
