How long can i leave my Python alone for?

i am getting a 3' Ball Python for a pet, but because my mother wont let me have it at home my Grandma said i can keep it in her garage. problem is i am gone from there somewhere around 4 days at a time and my gma will not touch or go near it. would it be ok for me to leave my snake alone that long? his enclosure i wood on 3 sides with a gl front with sliding locking doors and all the proper lights/lamps so it should be pretty well protected from temperature and secure, right?. please help me figure out what to do??
