Guys with single female friends?

It's been my experience that most male/female friendships usually end up with one wanting more out of it. I have had guy friends and that was almost always the case with the guys. I never thought of our friendship as anything more than friends but it's difficult for some men to seperate a deep connection to a woman and not have feelings for her. Just my thoughts.
