My friends always ditch me at recess? Please help!?

I'm a girl in grade 8, and every recess at school my friends ditch me. I don't know if they do it purposly, but they walk away and leave me standing by myself. I'll follow them, but then they just run away again! I tried talking to them about it, but they keep on ditching me! What should I do?
