Do I need a yellow fever vaccination to visit Brazil?

The website of the General Consulate of Brazil in Los Angeles says that you always need a yellow fever vaccination if you're going to be visiting certain countries, like Colombia and Peru (which I am). However the General Consulate of Brazil in San Francisco says that you currently do not need yellow fever vaccinations at all. Has anyone recently gone to Brazil after visiting Colombia or Peru? And did you need a yellow shot? Thanks!
