Is it right 2012 is the end of life on our planet?!!?

Some people think so because the Mayan calendar ends at 2012.. wait.. no that might be 2014. I don't remember, but either way, i doubt it because things have changed since that time. There was that time right before the 21st century when people thought it was the end of the world because the computer calendars didn't go past 1999. Well, we're still here, so I doubt the world is ending soon.
